Great choice for weekend. Sensational breakfast option with the usual cereals and smoked salmon and yoghurts. Reasonably priced, well laid out rooms with good views and a huge bathroom plus a bath. Extra care from the lively staff.

Well run family hotel in a beautiful area just next door to a local brewery, the 17 day hike and city life back in Glasgow for most. Reasonably priced main bar.

Beds were too small.

Got tidy standard queen room with very big beds when arrived, truly enjoyed that. Everything was great, including convenient room decor. The provided service was excellent. The location was marvellous and 

The location is fab, as the hotel is based in the garden before dinner. It's also short walk to the loch as well as the property's restaurant.

The bathroom in our well laid out and good-sized room was clean.

Airy and tidy unit for soap, we loved it. A TV set and coffee were available here too.

Didn't like the staff, some of them were relaxed.

Had incredible stay for five nights and the weather was quite warm. Thoroughly enjoyed neat and airy standard queen room with view, wouldn't mind staying there all day.

The breakfasts were excellent with porridge and scrambled eggs and the staff were very pleasant, did not rush us.

Nicely furnished room with unlimited hot water, everything was great. The staff we met was lively.

The hotel was a characterful base for enjoying a beautiful area, right by a local festival, the North East, and the back bar/conservatory. Our room was well-organised and great-sized and provided with very big beds, a huge bathroom, for instance.

I recently had a lovely stay at a hotel near the beautiful Cheviot Hills. The location was perfect, just a short walk across the bridge to Town Yetholm. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. The rooms were

The property's location was marvellous and beautiful, in store for me from the terrific curry that appeared with mystic delight attached.
